Ok so I had my first weigh in since signing up for Weight watchers….and …. LOST 2.6 pounds!!!! Yippeee!!! My 5% goal is to lose 8.9 pounds according to weight watchers.

ww weigh in results and other ramblings

ok so I went to the meeting with my mom and my son.  I weighed in at 178 which is not what I thought I would weigh. I was expecting more like 175. They told me my 5% goal would be to lose 8 pounds and 10% goal would be to lose 17. Honestly, I don’t really care for the meetings but I think that being accountable to someone will help me lose weight.

On another note my BMI suggests that i am almost obese. Which although I know I am overweight I think I’m far from obese. I lift weights twice a week and do a pool workout once a week.

WW tonight

My Mom and I are going tonight to check out our local Weight wathers group at 5:30!!! I hope it’s a good group of people and the program is close to what it used to be. I’ll post later and tell everyone how it went!!

Medifast

Hi I just wanted tell everyone that I am trying Medifast!! I ordered the food online and it came on Monday January 7. I started my diet the very next day!! I have lost 6 pounds so far and have only been on it for 5 days.

I liked the Fruit & nut Bars, hot cocoa, scrambled eggs, chili, wild rice and chicken soup, Smores bars, vanilla pudding and vanilla shake.

I didn’t like the dutch chocolate shake, swiss mocha shake, carmel nut bar, or oatmeal. I already called the company about sending those back. And it was pretty easy to do.

I must say that everyones taste buds are going to be different. So I am just telling you what I liked and disliked. I read the article on Medifast by 3 Fat chics on a diet website before I ordered from Medifast. They liked different foods than I did. However, they and I both agree that the Hot cocoa is good.

I added Salsa to my Chili. I added a few sprays of I can’t believe its not butter to the eggs.

I only want to lose 20-30 pounds and it may be possible on this diet.  Right now I’m not exercising cause Medifast recommends you not exercise for the first 2-3 weeks of the plan. However, I don’t really like to exercise anyway. BUt maybe if I lose more weight I might have more energy to exercise?

Anyway I’ll keep you posted on my progress…and if anyone has questions about my experience on Medifast you are welcome to ask!!
